Interlude Collective: Court Vision

Kevin Johnson is a self-taught, photography enthusiast from Tacoma, Washington. As a former athlete, movement influences his art, and his photography showcases the candidness of his subjects and the many facets of their human existence within their natural element.

Driven by his deep appreciation for the creative process and a desire to connect with diverse minds from around the world, Kevin has built an ever-growing and wide-ranging catalog. He spotlights the people and places who have inspired his personal journey as an artist, and this led him to his latest venture, Interlude Collective.

Interlude Collective is a collaborative engine—an interdisciplinary network of artists and creative entrepreneurs sharing similar ambitions. The vision developed naturally through years of building genuine, organic relationships. Interlude is founded on the confidence that a community of diverse creatives will lead to something bigger than each of them individually, opening doors to various partnerships along the way.

Kevin's latest limited photography collection, entitled 'Court Vision,' features varying basketball courts from around the world. His most popular set of photos, taken in the very neighborhood his parents met in, is a constant self-reminder of where he's come from. In contrast, the others are a testament of how far he plans to go.

The photograph release ultimately led to a collaboration with Ryoko Rain, a family-focused, globally recognized streetwear brand. The two brands came together organically to create a collection of shorts featuring Kevin's photos.

Photo prints are available for purchase below.
